Gray x Blue x Snakeskin

December has arrived and winter will be on it’s way. However, the weather has been kind enough to allow us to still see some not too cold fall days! I took advantage of one of those days while at home visiting my family.

A pencil skirt, a blouse or a solid top, and a pair of heels such as this one featured is one of my normal uniforms I wear to work. It’s one outfit that makes me feel sexy, but still conservative and presentable for work. One of its biggest advantages is that it’s a great day to night outfit.

This H&M royal blue zipper back pencil skirt is such a fun and detailed piece of clothing. Its solid color makes it so easy to style.  I’m such a big fan of simple and minimalistic outfits, so one of my goals with this look was to do just that! (See a similar look with jeans on a previous post at “Festive Living“.) I wanted to showcase different shades of gray with a bold color and then add some fun to the look by pairing my snakeskin heels by MIA Shoes and my Cotton On clutch. I’ve also been dying to style my new H&M dark gray fitted coat. I feel so Olivia Pope whenever I wear it. It let’s me know that winter is being handled and it will be fixed! Haha! I hope you guys are enjoying these last few weeks of fall!
