Ripped Denim + Sequins

Fashion fades, only style remains the same. – Coco Chanel

Just because it’s winter doesn’t mean that you have to avoid bold colors and sequins. Winter can be such a dreary and cold season so I always take the chance to brighten it with my fashion looks.

If you follow me on Twitter (@djsstyle) you might of seen my on the quest to find some new jeans tweet a few weeks ago. Well I found them and I’m a satisfied customer! Okay, so before I go shopping I’m the type to do research online first of the product I’m searching for.  I continued my routine with this shopping trip and lo and behold I found these, Washed Slate Blue Rips/Highwaisted Skinny Jeans, featured at one of my favorite places Cotton On. I’m so happy that once I got to Cotton On that they had them in my size and they fit just the way I like!

A basic colored top is the perfect option for highwaisted ripped skinny jeans.  I wanted simple, sexy, sophisticated but edgy for this look so the best way to achieve that is with the perfect blazer. This past week I participated in shopping the buy one, get one free sale at Forever 21. I purchased this bold rust colored  blazer for only $20. Now, just because the holidays are over doesn’t mean that you can’t wear sequins anymore. Have fun this winter and add some sequins and a bold color to your look!

How are you going to heat up the cold weather with fashion?
