“Never in my life have I let rain put a damper in my day.”
It’s Sunday morning and it’s pouring rain outside. My shoe choices for the day are either my rain and snow proof boots or my super cute patent leather block heeled boots —– I obiviously chose the latter.
There’s something about hearing rain outside on a Sunday. I find it soooo soothing and relaxing. I also don’t allow it to stop my day or my style. This particular Sunday I wanted to wear my new hat that I purchased from Lulus for only $5. Do you ever try to find the cheapest item to get your cart to the amount you need for free shipping? Well this was that type of item, haha. I actually love it and I am glad that I purchased it. I have become such a hat collector and I’m happy to add this one to the collection!
My oh my, these pants are really one of my favorites! I love that they are high waisted and that they have the paper-bag elasticized waist with a tie belt. I am also in love with the fit of them and how they look great with just about anything! Purchased these from Nasty Gal on sale for only $20, what a steal!
So I promise that it wasn’t as cold as it has been this week when I wore this outfit. I believe the high was close to 60 degrees so it wasn’t too bad to take off my coat and show off more of my outfit so you all can see!
Trench coats never get old to me! I have always thought they were so stylish. Tip of the Day: A trench coat in the rain is definitely a stylish option!
Be sure to check out my previous post where I styled these same boots with a velvet vest in my post Simple Chic with A Velvet Vest—– so luxe!
