Mesh T-Shirt Dress + Leopard Print Sandals

If we could just have the weather that we had last weekend, everyday, I would be in my glory! I hope everyone was able to get out last weekend because the weather was truly amazing! I loved the sun hitting my skin and the fact that I was able to style this adorable dress with no tights and/or boots. Instead all of this melanin was seen!

I bought this dress from T.J. Maxx’s online website at the end of summer 2017. Unfortunately I can’t remember the exact price but I do know it was cheap. I love this dress so much it’s such a relaxed but still stylish look for spring and summer. (Tip of the day: look out for end of the season sales you’ll find some great buys. You may not be able to wear it immediately but at least it’s something to look forward to for the next year.)

So I was going to style this dress with my patent leather boots (see how I styled them in my post A Black Velvet Dress + A Metallic Moto Jacket) but I told myself it’s literally in the high 80s you have to put on sandals to fully enjoy the weather….. so I did. I am such a huge fan of leopard print so when I saw these beauties on Topshop’s website I had to get them. Now they weren’t on sale but I bought them for $30 which I thought was reasonable for real leather sandals. Plus the fit, comfort, and style of them was worth every penny! I will definitely be styling these a lot on the blog!

Since I felt like wearing my hair in its truly natural state I decided to go even more bold with my look by adding in one of my favorite accessories – the ice cream cone earrings (I always get excited to bring these out of hiding once it gets warm). I thought they were a great contrast with the color of the dress. So to add in more fun and to match my earrings I decided to wear my Fenty “Candy Venom” lipstick.

To complete the whole outfit I paired it with an oldie but still a favorite, my small copper-colored bag. Just like that a cute, stylish, and laid back look was created. I had so much fun enjoying the weather in this outfit out in Alexandria, VA (one of my favorite places to visit in VA).

I would love to hear from you so let me know what you think of this look and if I should style another outfit with these leopard print sandals!

  1. Virginia is my home! I miss being there in the fall season. I’m in Texas now so we don’t get a real fall lol. T-shirt dresses are one of my fav things to wear in the spring. Love the bag also!

    1. Nice! The weather in VA has been so weird though, it just started to become more normal in the last week. We are now seeing 70s and 80 degree weather :-). Yes, they are so simple and easy to style! Thanks for commenting and checking out my post!
